A perfect condition at JAW’s generated a swell up to 50 feet waves Filmed in Maui on December 2004. A 10 minutes version of this video is available at: www.mauivideopodcast.com
i’m going to Hawaii to visit some family in January (they are old, they don’t surf) for 2 weeks. I have always wanted to learn to surf, but before I’ve always been scared. I am a really good swimmer (former high school swim team), and i’m still in pretty good shape. Is it possible to learn to surf in 2 weeks. I’ll be on the Big Island, where do I go, how do i find an instructor? Keep in mind I’m not made of money.
