December 2009 Surf (In A Nutshell) ended on a positive note in Central Florida – After Tropical Storm Ida passed in November, other small weather systems brought fun waves the rest of the year. The weather turned cold that last week of December, but warmed up nicely on New Years’ Eve. Lots of talent on these waves. I’ve never surfed, so looking for beg. waves and good instruction. My wife and I are going, so don’t want to rough it too much, but don’t necessarily want a resort experience either. Will have 3-4 days and willing to fly to/from San Jose to the beach. Thanks!
I used to live in Australia and thats where i learnt i had passion for surfing, but when we moved to england we moved inland, so the nearest beach is atleast 2 hours away.
But in the holidays i make sure i go down to cornwall for atleast a week to just surf! but i can never make up my mind on what beach has the best surf.
I recently moved to West Palm Beach Florida and I want to learn how to surf. I am contemplating Surf Camp in Cocoa Beach but was hoping that there was something closer that I could do on a regular basis.
oh yeah and I have never surfed before.
