I’m working at the tourism office, we need to know the total number of scuba divers in the Philippines because we’re planning to launch Di-Beer Festival (Dî from the word diver and Beer) this coming October 28. We need your answer as soon as possible.Thank you
i didn’t mean that divers will be drinking before diving, we just named it because San Miguel will be our partner in this activity

At any given time it can vary from all of them to almost all,and as a long time padi certified diver, I can tell you that is a horrible idea , and you better have good insurance because diving and drinking is a potentially deadly combination

19,201 havent actually been off shore or know swimming but are certified scuba divers.

If you want the local diver numbers, why not contact PADI, NAUI and SSI? They’ll be better able to let you know who is certified in the country and probably have the average for tourist numbers.

Those are the training agencies that will have reps in your area.
And by the way…there’s nothing wrong with having a couple of beers after a dive. Most divers will if that’s the end of the dive day.
